Question for Thought
Select a topic of interest to you that you would research. Creat a question of definition, fact, value, and policy for your research topic. For example, I am interested in individuals use of online news.
Question of Definition- What is a weblog?
Question of Fact- Do individuals read online new more in the morning or the evening?
Question of Value- Are online newspapers less reliable?
Question of Policy- Should newspapers charge subscription fees for online readers?

I am interested in individuals choices for a first date.
Definition- What is considered a date?
Fact- Do people prefer a "normal" first date (dinner and a movie), or going to a party?
Value- Are "normal" dates more sincere?
Policy- Should individuals split the cost of a first date?

I am interested in why people get road rage for no reason.
Definition-What is road rage?
Fact-Do individuals feel more likely to have road rage during high traffic times or low traffic times?
Value-Are people who have road rage more likely to be a bad driver?
Policy-Should people who are caught having road rage for no apparent reason be ticketed?

I am interested in reality tv.
Definition- what is reality tv.
Fact-Does reality tv really depict reallity and if so, whoes?
Value- Is the content of most reality tv shows on today an appropriate dipiction of life for adolecents.
Policey-Should networks be alowed to toy with the images of the people on the reality shows to increase ratings.

Definition- What is myspace.com?
Fact- Is myspace used as a virtual hang out spot?
Value- Are the friends acquired more dependable than the more tangible, physical friends people have?
Policy- Should the creator of myspace.com setup a small subscription fee for users?

Fact - Do individuals use public transportation more in large metropolitan areas or in suburbs?
Value - Does the use public transportation cut down on pollution?
Policy - Should individuals that use public transportation be rewarded with tax deductions?

Does playing car video games like need for speed or fronza increase the amount of driver agression on the road.
Definition: What is driver agression.
Fact: Do people understand the diffrence between a video game and real driving.
Value: Is there certian aspects of driving that video games help develop like defensive driving, or does it make people drive whith more agression.
Policy: Make driving video games more realistic to help people become better drivers on the street, and find ways for people show less driver aggression.

Value-Does consuming alcohol influence decision making and one's lifestyle?

I am interested in the legal drinking age, and why it's 18.
Definition- What is the drinking age?
Fact- Why is the drinking age 21?
Value- Why is it okay for people to serve the country and risk their life at 18, but not be able to consume an alcoholic beverage?
Policy- Should the drinking age be lowered to the same age you're allowed to sign up to defend your country?

QofD- What will new laws mean for internet radio?

Fact: Do more people smoke because they enjoy it (and could quit any second) or because they're addicted to it?
Value: Is a person who smokes more likely to die?
Policy: Should smoking be outlawed?

Something i would like to look into is the use of text messaging and if it really is convenient.
QoD- What is convenient?
QoF- Do people text more often than call on cell phones?
QoV- Is text more convenient to BOTH parties?

Fact- Do people believe 16 is old enough to be driving?
Value- Are young drivers more likely to have accidents?
Policy- Should young driviers be restricted to the hours and places they shouold be able to drive?
